Take action for your health
Research demonstrates that men with prostate cancer who remain active often experience longer, healthier lives. Even dedicating just 20 minutes a day to activity can deliver meaningful benefit!
A study of men with localized prostate cancer found that those who walked at least 20 minutes daily after diagnosis had a lower risk of dying from prostate cancer and a lower overall risk of mortality compared to less active men⁹.
A meta-analysis has demonstrated that exercise improves cardiorespiratory fitness and may enhance quality of life (QoL) and reduce PSA levels in men with prostate cancer undergoing active surveillance¹⁰.

Cardio exercises help improve your heart health, endurance, and energy levels. Activities such as walking, cycling, or light aerobic exercises can help you stay active and support your overall well-being.
-
Strength and balance exercises help maintain muscle mass, improve stability, and reduce the risk of falls. They can help you feel stronger and more confident in your everyday movements.
-
Flexibility exercises gently stretch your muscles and improve suppleness. They can help reduce muscle tension, improve posture, and support easier movement.
-
Pelvic floor exercises help strengthen the muscles that support bladder control and pelvic health. Regular practice can help improve comfort and confidence in daily life.
